RARA LAKE

There are many places in the world that are yet to be explored, among these type of places one lies in Nepal. The one that is untouched by human civilization. Of course there are some rural village but the lake pure, as it is in natural from, pure as taken from the heaven. This places Rara lake is in mountainous region of Mugu district in Nepal. Though Rara lake do not have as much as visitors as it is expected to be.It is because of lack of transportation facilities that leads to there and also lack advertisement process and the political condition of the country makes everyone forget about the Natural beauty they have been gifted by the nature. Rara lake is in state as it was at its first formed. WARMING ICE

The amazing view of the ice sheet melting slowly and meeting into the sea is actually a glacier melting into the sea and as usual feeding the continuous level of water in sea. Every tonnes of such glacier ice melts into the sea and balances the temperature of the earth. These sheets of ice feeds the oceans continuously from north and south. The sheets of ice continuously melts throughout the year.Between these recent years the glaciers and ice sheets of the world has started melting in rushing speed.This is because of global warming.This is going to create a very dangerous situation in coastal regions as it is the cause of increasing sea level.If such melting of ice sheets goes uncontrolled life on earth will be at stake.The rising tempature is the major cause of the global rise in temprature.

INSECT SWARMS A PROBLEM

The image in the side is not one of the camera caught thrown papers or neither it is any of the camera tricks.It can be said one of the natures fury or is can be said the collision between the human civilization and the feeding frenzy of the locust. The view caught in the camera is actually is the swarm of locust. These numbers of insects come here in huge numbers and they start feeding any plant on their path in these numbers of covers many square miles of area at the time of feeding as they come plunge into the fields cultivated by the humans they wont spare even this.
They finish every thing in their path.These numbers are like giant eating machine as they eat every plant.The view of this huge numbers of locusts are beautiful for the nature loving peoples but for the farmers they loose their hard work and expectations from many months of reaping their fields . These amazing moments are created by the huge numbers of these tiny locusts.Anyways these swarms of locusts create a beautiful scenery some about for weeks. PILGRIMS TO WORSHIP

Every year or so many of the pilgrimages make their destiny to their holy gods where they believe that they worship if their god at that time their god will surely listen to them and allow their wish.Pilgrimages sometimes gather in huge numbers to worship their god at the same time.Their huge numbers get up to 10,000 or more. The river Ganges is the ultimate holy river in the Asian countries. Each year millions of pilgrims visit to worship the holy river Gaga. It is also believe if one take a dip in this river s/he washes their all sins and become innocent as a newly born baby and gets inspired for living a liberated life .The picture shown is the place called Gomukh which literally means what feeds the river.The tons of sheets of ice which was there for 1000 of years continously feeds the holy river Ganga.The actual origin is hard to detect but as it is belived from many years the Ganges origins from right this place Gomukh.But now a days the pure waters of the Ganges are in threat woth the mixing up of the polluted waters.This is very harmful for the rescept earned by the ganges in these years. The construction of the grand bridge began on January 5, 1933, and was completed after more than four years.The color of the bridge was chosen an orange vermilion called the international orange. The color was selected by consulting the famous architect Irving Morrow and he suggested the color because it blends well with the natural surroundings and was also easy to detect in fog. It is the most beautiful gift of bridge engineering.

The only living thing on earth that can be seen from the moon stretches from Rockhampton to Papua New Guineain Australia. At its widest, the reef is around 80km wide; at its furthest out it is 300km from the mainland coast, and at its tallest it’s more than 500m thick and its oldest parts have been growing for 18 million years.Coral reefs cover less than one per cent of the planet’s surface but support more than 25 per cent of all marine life among them the great barrier reef of Australia alone supports 1500 species of fish, 400 species of coral, 4,000 species of molluscs, 500 species of seaweed, 215 species of birds and several migrating whales.Global warming, which is the biggest threat to the world’s reefs because they will self destruct in deep waters.Some marine scientists predict that most of the world’s coral will be dead in 40 years.This is a great threat for life in earth.

THE MELTING EARTH

TOP OF THE WORLD

The tallest mountain of all, the top of the world.This means there is no other place in the world higher than this.It lies in the foothills of the Himalayas.Bordered by Tibet in the north it lies in Nepal. It reaches up to the height of 8848 meter from sea level,height: 29,028 feet, or 5 and a half miles above sea level. This is equivalent to the size of almost 20 Empire State Building .It is always covered with snow and feeds the ever flowing rivers of Nepal.It is destination many of the climbers and scenery lovers. The first human step in this height of 8848 meter of Sir Edmund Hillary in 1953.It has also been discovered that the Himalayan Mountains are still growing higher, at a rate of about 2.4 in/6.1cm per year. A growth rate of 2.4 in/6.1cm per year doesn’t sound like very much, but if you think about it. It is approximately 60 million years old.Twenty-nine degrees north and eighty-seven degrees east, mainly on Nepal, sits the tallest mountain on the face of the Earth, Mount Everest. The vast amount of snow on the mountain’s side is one of the cause dangerous of avalanches which is the most fear of the climbers. Its height, massive size makes it one of the world’s Seven Wonders.

A MANGROOVE FOREST WITH HEART

We're way above the earth, high above three rivers flowing making their way to the sea.
But what what are the rivers flowing through?And what is that strange looking heart?
We're looking down on a mangrove forest,often found in tropical regions. As warm rivers water nears the ocean, the shallow,muddy shoreline becomes a perfect growing place for thousands of mangrove trees .The trees thrust upward , fighting for light ,while under the water ,among the dark roots ,swirls of fish, snakes and crocodiles hunt .
The mangrove forest is always changing . The heart is natural clearing -a place where the ground is slightly higher ,which causes the salt water to evaporate faster. The sand is saltier in these high spots ; vegetation cannot grow here. But because nothing stays the same for a long in the mangrove forest, the heart could be gone in a year, or ten years, leaving nothing we recognize except the thick green growth.

A LONE SHADY SPOT

At first almost seems to be a web with green ball in its center.But the center is really a single tree ,growing in very dry ,isolated landscape.
The tree (an acacia ,a tree with deep roots) is growing in a section of a national park in Kenya .A national park is a large area set aside by a country to protect the space from .... humans! Here there is no hunting , no digging no building of houses. The park is guarded by rangers,who make sure the park rules are observed by the visitors.
And many visitors come , mainly to see the wild animals in their natural settings. Because the acacia affords shade, it is a favourit spotting place for animals -and it is the animals that ,by moving back and forth on their paths ,have created a reddish 'sun rays' that seem to flow out from the beautiful single tree.

CLODS OF COTTON

This man isn't on a king sized cauliflower. We're looking down on a huge number of bales of cotton.
A cotton plant,like all plants , produces seeds. Each sees is surrounded by a long,silky fibers.
In the wind, these fibres would help the seed soar into the air and find a new place to grow.But when cotton is planted and harvested by people ,workers pick the seeds . Then they collect the thread -entwined seeds in bales ,each composed of many,many soft balls of cotton.
The bundles look like they are wrapped inside a giant green leaves. But the 'leaves' are really squares of plastic tied at the four corners . Soon the bales will be transported to cotton gins , where the cotton fibers will be seperated from the seeds and twisted together to make long and strong threads .And those threads will be used to make our clothes. It all starts here.

PENGUINS PREPARE FOR A PLUNGE

The place shown in the image is of the Antarctica where there is six months of darkness and six months of light. The penguins are highly adapted for these kind of regions . They hunt for their food under the water.They are the only birds in the world that can walk like a man. Their care for the young ones are like in humans. penguins are adapted for this kind of climate and conditions.Although they are some what slow on land they are great swimmers. This video will show their well adaptation in such extreme climate of Antarctica.

TERRACED FEILDS FOR FARMING MAIN CROP

The design crafted ,shown here is not in a piece of a paper or just in drawings. The landscape here is crafted by the villagers and the farmers for planting their main crop rice. Rice is the main crop of Asia and it almost grown by every farmer in the field . The picture taken is from the top of the site here and it gives the amazing view of the place . This site as irrigated and growing place for the plants becomes very difficult to construct. In fact it is not just like common terraced rice fields. They are ploughed for the main food crop and cash crop of the continent Asia.The picture of such a beautiful site is taken from its top which makes it look even beautifully crafted.
